How can the education sector incorporate the skills of Esport into its curriculum? Here are some practical tips.

Global Academy in the UK has introduced an Esports Production course into its curriculum, offering students a UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma. Equivalent to three A-Levels, this course grants up to 168 UCAS Points, bolstered by a partnership with the University of the Arts, London (UAL).

However it is more of an art than science in bringing these concepts together in teaching. Successfully integrating esports into other subjects, collaboration between teachers from different disciplines is essential. Schools can also consider creating interdisciplinary projects or clubs focused on esports and academic learning.

Mathematics

●    Use esports data, such as player performance statistics, match outcomes, and in-game data, to teach mathematical concepts like probability, statistics, and data analysis.

●    Students can analyze historical data to make predictions about future matches or player performance.
