Rasha Al Najjar

Rasha Al-Najjar is an Agricultural Engineer and a certified educator. Winner of the Judges GESS Education Award 2017, she has been working for more than 10 years in the field of education. Started her career as a Science Coordinator and currently serves as Middle and High school Assistant Principal in Al-Hekma International School /Bahrain. Rasha was selected to coordinate the ENO(Environment on-line) program in Bahrain from 2016 to 2020. ENO is a global school network and web community for sustainable development established in year 2000 in Finland. https://www.enoprogramme.org/about/

Rasha works side by side with local and global schools to spread sustainable education, and aid in developing students' STEAM, critical thinking and problem solving skills. She’s usually invited as a guest speaker in Environmental days like Earth day and world water day and aids in spreading awareness. Helps foster a new generation of informed consumers, workers, as well as decision makers. She aims to improve access to quality education on sustainable development at all levels and believes that teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, caliber, and future of an Individual.
