Kim Nilsen Aarberg Teacher / Google Workspace Specialist / Askøy Municipality ICT Advisor

kim aarberg

I have worked as a teacher for 17 years, teaching students from 5th to 10th grade. During this time my main focus was to open the classroom doors and incorporate the outside world with my students. We taught each other how to fail and how to learn from others. The last 4 years I have worked with Google for education in Norway, as a consultant working with more schools and municipalities in and outside of Norway. Together with Terje Pedersen we have utilized Google Cloud and especially Vertex AI and Gemini language models to build learning tools for students all over the world. We believe that AI in education will enhance learning if used correctly. During this time we also co-authored 2 books and participated in global projects which we give lectures on both domestic and international.
